Elena's Beach Garden by Estia

Vor allen Dingen die Lage, aber auch der gut renovierte Zustand und die Größe des Apartments. Darüber hinaus hatten wir beinahe täglich einen sehr guten Kontakt zu der natürlich freundlichen Gastgeberin/ Inhaberin.

Durch ein benachbartes Restaurant war die Nutzung des zugewiesenen Kfz-Stellplatzes zeitweilig eingeschränkt, wurde aber unkompliziert gelöst.

Elena‘s Beach Garden hat einen sehr guten Standort, zur fast leeren Badebucht führt eine Treppe, die eine Herausforderung sein könnte, falls Bewegungseinschränkungen vorliegen. Wir lieben den ursprünglichen Süden Kretas jenseits der Tourismus-Hochburgen im Norden. Einfache Tavernen sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Elena führt ihre Pension sehr professionell, das gesamte Personal war jederzeit hilfsbereit und außerordentlich freundlich. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt und sehr sauber, Wir waren nach 11 Jahren das zweite Mal zu Besuch und kommen bestimmt wieder. Geschlafen haben wir wie „Gott auf Kreta“, die Betten waren super!

Great location right up near the beach which has street and property access. It’s not too close to the main towns just a short Drive, Fresh towels every few days and I think cleaned every second day which was nice! Lovely owner and property.

Showerhead is not on a holder which makes it very difficult to shower in such a small space, maybe upgrading the shower curtains to glass screens would be beneficial to stop water going all over bathroom floor. The seals on the doors are loose so due to all the wind the windows were making a lot of noise with the air coming through, they may need to be repaired! An extra blanket or comforter would be nice to have in the room as it felt a bit bare at night. Added touch would be great to have tea and coffee with milk available to use in the unit for convenience!

the building is a bit run down, the entrance and the garden looks abandoned. Our apartment was spacious and with air conditioning, but furnitures were cheap. For the same price, we stayed in a beautifull (and larger) apartment in Agios Nicolaos, which is also much nicer than Ferma (nothing here, but a long road with few markets, and of course the beach).
