About this house rental
This fabulous watermill stood empty and abandoned until it was recently fully restored and converted into a beautiful, comfortable home. Enjoy listening to the quiet rustling of the river while you drift off to sleep to while you relax reading a book. The house sits on over a hectare of land and is extremely private, yet it has the convenience of being only a 2 minute drive to the local restaurant and a 5 minute drive to the nearest village where you can find everything you need, including 3 stunning beaches, one of them great for surfing. The house has 3 full bedrooms, each one with its own bathroom. One bedroom has a lounge area with a sofa bed to accommodate extra guests.
Kindly note that the landscaping is still in progress and that the exteriors are still a work in progress but will be ready for sure for the summer. It is just a question of the grass growing and the flowers blooming :-)

Where should I start? There are so many wonderful things to say about this place. One of the things we love most was being right on the river, listening to the gentle water streaming down, so soothing! Our children loved it even more. We were lucky to have warm weather for this time of the year and our kids spent hours playing in the river, making little boats out fo sticks and leaves. The house itself is so lovely, with eclectic, original furniture combined with the modern comforts. You have the feeling of being away from it all because the property it completely private, yet you are only a 5 minute drive to the coast where you can enjoy pristine beaches and have the convenience of a supermarket, restaurants and cafés. Claudia was so immensely helpful, gave us all kinds of tips about what to do, which made our stay even more special. We hope to be back!!
