המלון בבעלות ומנוהל ע"י קלרה ובנה ישראל ממקימי מטולה והמדינה. רק החוויה של הפגישה איתם והסיפורים היו שווים את האירוח. מעבר לזה השהייה היתה נהדרת, מיקום קרוב למסלולי טיולים, מסעדות ובתי קפה קרובים, ויחס פשוט נהדר. החדר גדול ומרווח עם מרפסת לרחוב הראשי, אבל זו מטולה לא תל אביב, די שקט.
שווה לשפר מעט את החדרים בעיקר מבחינת דלתות (מבודדות רעשים) וחלונות. מעבר לזה היתה מסיבה בערב מול המלון וכשהתלוננו באוזני ישראל הוא פתר את הבעיה בצורה מקצועית ואיכפתית תוך כמה דקות. פשוט יחס מדהים.

מלון עתיק עם אווירה מקסימה! משופץ, נקי ונעים, החדרים יפים ומשפחת לישנסקי מארחת באהבה. ארוחת הבוקר מומלצת ויש גם מקום נחמד במרחק של כמה צעדים לארוחת ערב. נהנינו מכל רגע – בהחלט נחזור וממליצים בחום!

היה מדהים מהרגע שרגלנו דרכה במקום. קיבלה את פנינו בעלת הבית, חייכנית ומקסימה עם הסברים על האזור ועל האטרקציות שמסביב בנוסף לסיפור המרתק של משפחתה. ידעה להתאים לכל אחד את ארוחת הבוקר שלו על ידי שאלון קצר, כמובן שארוחת הבוקר עלתה על ציפיותינו וניתן היה לראות ולטעום שהכל טרי והוכן ממש רגע לפני שירדנו לחדר האוכל (מומלץ לשבת בחוץ). מתחזקות המלון היו יוצאות מן הכלל ותמיד ידעו לתת מענה לכל בקשה שהיתה מוזרה ככל שתהיה, ניקיון החדרים היה ברמה גבוהה מאוד וניתן היה לראות שלא התפשרו על שום דבר מהסבון ועד המגבת. המיקום היה אטרקטיבי, ממש בין תפר חיי הלילה לבין השקט הפסטורלי שמטולה יכולה להציע. מקום שמשאיר טעם של עוד. ללא ספק נחזור.
