We stayed right at the end of the season, so the location of this hotel was perfect, giving us direct access to the Main

Upgrade to 5 star...

Vrissiana was closed, so we were offered Constantinos hotel, which is a 5 star hotel, so this review is about another hotel, I cant say I felt that Constantinos is a 5 star hotel, it was definitely ok, and a great value for the money we paid, and helped us a lot to understand that when we return in the summer we will get a villa, not a hotel, just because in the summer the prices are double and its not worth it. Apart from the above, everything went pretty well during our short stay, food was good, service was ok, the room might need a bit of renovation, but everything works.

Room looks a bit used up, some light renovation might help it, I asked uppon booking a room a single king or queen bed, instead got a switch of the hotel as they called it an upgrade from a 4 star hotel to a 5 star hotel, and a double twin bed that was very uncofortable for a couple.

Great View but Five Stars a Stretch

I struggled a bit leaving a review here. First the positives. My view was stupendous from my spacious balcony, better than I anticipated and I really appreciated the hotel honouring my request for a room high (to mitigate the noise I’d read about) . Extremely clean and spacious rooms. As far as value I think their price point was spot on for off season.

-Trying to be overall fair but as cited in a few reviews, the staff needs a serious tune up in the friendliness department. That said, I’m coming to realize in Cyprus, besides the sooo many nice Cypriot people I’ve met, that those in the service industry who should be getting paid to be friendly are not so much. However, the breakfast staff were overall nice and attentive and I have to give Joy ( his real name is about ten syllables long haha) at the breakfast station a special shout out- omelettes were perfect every morning, he’s a kind soul and his omelettes maybe best I’ve ever had. -The TV (and we had a couple chilly days) is not much bigger than my laptop, with limited channels.Would have been nice catching a movie on a decent sized screen but I ended up just watching on my computer. Overall, five star hotel is a huge stretch. The exterior reflects it but a few things on the internal need to be tweaked. Hope this is of assistance.

Perfect place to run out of big city noise and enjoy beautiful views, quiet and nature

We stayed in Vrissiana for couple of days Room with front sea view 202 and half-board menu Beautiful view for sunsets and sunrises big king size bed for couple beautiful hotel’s territory with pool and beach close to the beach with sand quite place outside various food (even with repeated menu)

1. We had a door to next room inside ours room and our neighbours were a little bit noisy sometimes 2. Balcony door’s locker was broken and we were unable to close it completely when leaving the room 3. A little bit dirty bathroom on arrival 4. No drinks at the dinner

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff genuinely friendly. Everything just felt easy and relaxed. I’d happily stay again.

Nice hotel and location if beach resort is your thing

If you’re looking for beachfront and a nice pool area, this is a great spot. Our room was very modern and comfortable with a balcony view. It was really nice having breakfast and dinner included, there were always lots of options. Thank goodness for the omelet station. I’m diabetic and it’s so important and necessary to have low carb options. The pool and beach area are crowded but nice. Drinks like juice and water were free at breakfast but no drinks were included with dinner which was a bummer. We usually were able to find parking unless it was later in the evening sometimes it wasn’t easy. Staff were friendly, especially at the dining area. The dining room indoors is a little barebones and leaves something to be desired; outside was much nicer.

The gym hours were very limited making exercising in the morning and evening (when most people exercise) impossible however, supposedly to they changed that after I complained. The sauna I was excited for ended up being an extra fee so I didn’t get to use it, even though it’s not too expensive. Having water included with dinner, like it is with breakfast, should be a right. We don’t drink alcohol and my husband had throat cancer so he can’t swallow anything without water. So we had to buy water each night, which is fine but I don’t like contributing to waste and the plastic problem. Plus it gets expensive.

Disappointed that the hotels standards are in decline

The friendliness off the staff, the location

Too many cabanas round the pool and not enough loungers. The focus seems to be on how can we make the entertainment during the day a loud as possible. The food has improved since our last visit in May and the deserts are fantastic, but although the chef shows great talent the meat quality is very poor. We've stayed may times over the last 10 years but sadly we can find better value for money elsewhere - for what is on offer the price need to come down.

An unforgettable stay, coming back for sure!

- The pool was very nice - The staff - The dinner was different every night - Entertainment was also nice

- Relocation to a sister location ( Iliada Beach Hotel) one day before arrival was a bit stressful, although it was handled amazingly and very professional. We received the best room with stunning sea view and were upgraded to all inclusive for both Vrissiana and the sister location and we were allowed to use both facilities. Since we spent most of the time at Vrissiana, it was sometimes a bit frustrating to explain to the staff why we do not have a room at Vrissiana but still are entitled to use the facility, but other than that the experience was amazing. We will definitely like to return to Vrissiana and hope that next time we actually get to stay directly there, since we really enjoyed it!

very nice short stay

Amazing location! You're just a short walk from main street with all its restaurants and attractions, and you can get right to the beach from the back of the hotel. We enjoyed the fresh, delicious breakfast. Our meals at the hotel buffet, including dinner on our first night and lunch the next day, were consistently delicious. Room is large and spacious. Installing drying racks would provide a convenient solution for guests to dry their beach towels and swimwear.

A lovely 3 night break in the centre of Protarus

Great location, easy access to shops and restaurants. Lovely friendly staff. Plenty of sunbeds. Very clean throughout the hotel

Room was a good size and very clean however it could do with a bit of updating especially in the bathroom, a walk in shower would be nice. A bit more information about the food, I.e. what is gluten free, vegetarian etc, there was just numbers on some dishes but not all. A slight sewage smell near the bar area

The worst hotel i stayed in Cyprus

The only good thing about this Hotel was the location.

Horrible food and horrible presentation of the food. Every day we had to go out for food because all regarding that restaurant was disgusting, from food to chairs and tables. Rasist afro British workers in the spa area disgusted by us and screaming at us that we have to replace towels every 3 days and called us “polish rubbers” disgusted by Easter europeans. I am romanian but disgusted by their attitude against people from East europe who were civilised and majoritar in the Hotel. Poor area and no facilities for all inclusive.

It was ok but we checked out early as not for us.

The staff were exceptional. Cleaners never stopped. Omelette lady was fantastic. Reception were helpful and polite. The mirror on the bedroom ceiling gave us a good laugh!!

Bathroom tiles needed some love as did some of the furnishings. The aircon was just about enough. Chargeable wifi and safety deposit box is shocking. Singer at the pool gave us ear ache.

The property was clean, tidy and ideal for families. The interconnecting rooms were perfect for our family of 5. The buffet offering at breakfast, lunch and dinner was vast and to a good standard.

Loved the souvvla! The hotel, pool area and beach are exceptionally clean and well looked after. Staff attend to empty drink glasses, empty plates and unused sunbeds so quickly and with a smile. Staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. Location of the hotel is superb! Right on the beach and by the Protaras strip (though it is not noisy from all the local bars), so you’ll have a peaceful nights sleep. Fig tree bay is a short walk along the beach. Be sure to stop by the young man selling corn on the cob/popcorn on your way- it’s delicious! The beach right outside the hotel is sandy, with crystal blue water. An added bonus is that the sea isn’t rocky.

More sun beds are needed around the pool. There were many food options available in the buffet restaurant, however , the food could use a lot more flavour. We also would have preferred more Cypriot food, rather than Mexican and oriental nights (as an example)

Comfortable, relaxing and beyond expectations

We had a fantastic stay! Everything was perfect—from the clean and comfortable rooms to the friendly and helpful staff. The location was great, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

The gym was a bit of a letdown. The equipment felt outdated and limited, it could really use a modern update to match the rest of the hotel’s quality. Still, it was functional for a basic workout.

vrissiana hotel was closed but I was timely informed that i would be moved to the konstantinos the great hotel which was next to vrisainna and also 5 star. in the circumstances all my comments apply or konstantios the great and not vrissiana. Breakfast was ecelent and very rich.I was on half board basis, dinner was buffet and very rich in quantities and choices, however as qyality of food the way it was cooked were not to the standards of 5 star hotel. moreover it was totally unacceptable that no fresh water was offered with dinner and you had to pay for any kind of drink including fresh waer

This hotel is NOT 5⭐️HOTEL . I am not even sure where is this rating came from. The hotel rooms need an upgrade long time ago. Shower room is so old. I did not like anything

Hotel is very old, this is not 5 star hotel by any means. I only stay in 5 star hotels, so I know what I am talking about. Food is awful, it's not worth paying all inclusive or half board even. It's better to go out for dinner in a local restaurants, luckily everything is very close. Shower room need an upgrade, very old. The elevator is very inconvenient, for such a big building need to have more lifts. The rooms next to elevator are very inconvenient, loads of noise, you will hear everything like its happening in your room. Housekeeper was taking our old towels but never brought new clean towels. Ever time we had to chase and wait for our towels (happened 3 times) . AVOID THIS HOTEL

Simply amazing!!! The best stay ever, various food, spacious rooms, clean towels and sheets every day, on the beach free sunbeds, top location, great value for the money! I must mention the great miss Julie at the reception, and I and waiter Petros he was exceptional and made our stay truly unforgettable. We will definitely come back!

Perfect if you want to save money

Staff and service was good.

They said we had to pay €2.50 a day for the usage of the safe in our room for which should’ve been free with the room. The iron was only to be used in reception and not in our room.

The waiter's behaviour spoiled our stay.

The bar service from the waiter outside on the veranda was atrocious. He would not bring us a bottle of water first and then order the drinks. He said he would bring everything together and then left . We were not given a drinks menu.We asked an assistant for a glass of water and she said we had to ask the waiter as she was not allowed to take an order. The glass of water was for medication before dinner. Unfortunately my second request for water resulted in a shouting confrontation with the waiter. He shouted at me in front of our guests and other diners and this resulted in us complaining to his line manager who apologised on his behalf. Food in the restaurant was average in presentation and variety. I have emailed the hotel manager and he has apologised.

Dissapointed

Location is perfect, just in the middle of Fig tree bay, one of the best beaches in Cyprus. Room was clean and comfortable. The ladies in the reception were amazing, especially Mrs. Anna if i am not wrong, who was willing to provide any kind of help.

Besides breakfast which was decent, lunch and dinner were not even average. As we had an all inclusive stay, we would expect something much better, however quality of food, snacks and drinks was very poor (yucky i would say) Most of the staff is untrained with no hotel experience at all. Definitely not a 4 star hotel!
