Owlpen Manor Cottages

Loved the location. Nice and clean on arrival. Good central heating. Nice welcome pack. Nice comfortable mattress in main bedroom.

The interior of the cottage really needs an update and redecoration. Windows were very drafty. Water from shower splashed around shower door wetting the floor badly. Upstairs would be much nicer if carpeted.

Wow. What an incredible experience. Myself and four close friends met up for a weekend here to catch up and celebrate Christmas. It was the perfect place. The cottage is very cosy and welcoming with the fire place and interior decor. The beds were super comfy and the shower has good pressure, heat and spread. It's lovely there's Christmas lights and a tree installed for the season. We went for a hike around the estate and into the town of Uley where we visited the pub and local church. Everything was just right and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Hope to return again next year.

If I was to pick up anything, it would be that the kitchen is small and when we were all trying to help cook dinner/breakfast etc. It was a little cramped but it didn't effect our enjoyment of the whole experience.

the location was beautiful, very quiet and peaceful. clean and well equipped. loved the entrance hall for leaving wet coats and muddy boots

the bed! it seemed to be broken and sagged in the middle, on top of this the mattress was very very soft which made the bed extremely uncomfortable. we didn’t get very good nights sleep on any of our 4 nights. also no hooks for towels or tea towels. after a shower there was no where to hang to towels to dry
