This homestay was absolutely amazing. The family is incredibly kind, warm and welcoming – you really feel at home from the first minute. The free breakfast was honestly the best breakfast I have had so far in Sri Lanka, made with so much love. In the morning you can even see monkeys when you look out of the window, which was such a special experience. The bathroom was super clean, the room itself spotless, and I had a mosquito net around my bed which made sleeping very comfortable. I stayed in a double room with a huge fan that had different modes you could adjust, which was perfect for the climate. The overall atmosphere was calm, friendly and very pleasant. I was even allowed to cook together with the family, and sometimes they would just give me a banana or fruit for free out of kindness. You can really feel how much they care about their guests.

Honestly, nothing. Everything was perfect

With the price you pay, it’s good! Bit inside! Owner, the couple and their parents are the cutest!!! The lady tries to do her best if you ask!

Fan plug had issues, mosquito net has holes, toiled seat scratched me, gets really hot since no ceiling fan but a pedestal fan. Breakfast was just two slice of bread with jam and coffee. But it all comes at cheap price so it consolidate and the attitude of the owners is so lively, even though she doesn’t understand English well, she tried her best to help!
