The room was very spacious with lots of storage. Staff were friendly. Clean property with big drying room for snow gear. Easy to walk to slopes and several restaurants in the area. Discounted ski pass and rental gear was a massive plus!

Really good but note you need to book breakfast 24hrs in advance and this didn’t cater for vegetarians. Plenty of options locally though.

The location was great for our first stay in Nozawa, we had everything we needed and felt so welcomed by the lovely staff. The value during the winter season was amazing - only a short walk to the lifts and shops around Nozawa.

Good location. Slight walk to the ski slopes - totally doable. Host is extremely nice. Place is set up very well with everything you need for a comfortable stay. 2 min walk to public bath. 2 min to Central bus stop to catch Nozawa onsen liner or shuttle bus to ski slopes. Breakfast was delicious!!!

In the direct centre of town. You won’t have any trouble with finding it or the other shops and slopes.

Full disclosure, I didn’t complete my stay here. I’m not sure if it’s common for the area (from the people I asked around town it was extremely uncommon) but you’ll have set times you can use the shower, the bathroom and also a curfew. If you’re just here for the snow sports then this might be fine for you. but if you want to enjoy the night life you’ll need to make sure you’re back by 11pm or else you’ll be locked out. This is a neutral review because I didn’t actually stay. I spent about 30 minutes in my room trying to find another place that doesn’t have a ridiculous curfew. This information is important for any travellers considering your accomodation please include it on the online listing.
