Seven Pillars No 39 Galle Fort

From the moment we walked in the Villa felt so calm and serene. We were warmley welcomed by our Butler Imalka who showed us around. He was so accommodating and always checked on us to ensure everything was OK with our room and if we required anything. The Villa owner also checked on us both prior to our arrival and whilst we were staying there. We had the larger room upstairs which was very roomy with a balcony a ver large and comfortable 4 poster bed with a balcony you could sit outside on. On this floor was a media room as well as a reading room. Downstairs had a massive dining table with more setting and a lovely outdoor area where we had breakfast each morning. It is spectacular and I woukd thoroughy recommend this for a stay in the fort as it is also so close to all the action on Pedlar St.

Nothing, the only thing I missed was a kettle in my room for a late night or early morning cuppa. Having said this, the kitchen was at our disposal if we wanted to make anything down stairs at any time.
