Villa Várzea - Garden Suite

We had a very enjoyable stay at Villa Várzea. The property has the feel of a traditional Azorean country estate, with high ceilings, wooden floors, and tasteful furnishings. The room was spacious, comfortable, and full of character. We appreciated the practical details as well, including mosquito screens on the windows and easy parking. The entrance is a little narrow, but it was manageable. The room was equipped with a fridge, coffee machine, kettle, and basic dishes, which was very convenient. There is no full kitchen, but it was enough for breakfast and simple meals. The location is great for exploring the west coast of São Miguel and Sete Cidades. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast can be delivered to the room for €16, which we found convenient and enjoyable. Overall, we had a great time and would happily stay here again.

Everything was amazing

The place is fantastic! It is spacious and well-located with all major attractions within 10-15 minutes. The breakfast is also very delicious and a good value for money.

The interior design has some room for improvement. The extra bed in the kitchen/dining area is unnecessary, while a tap would have been useful there. The bathroom sink is more ornamental than useful. It is a missed opportunity for extra storage, which is lacking in the bathroom.
