The Lonely Chimney Apartments

It was a place to sleep.

It is old, in a block of flats. No early check in was allowed and in the heat it is a fair walk from train station, but if you arrive before 3pm you need to walk another 23 minutes if you need to store luggage and the same 23 minutes back to the apartment after 3pm to settle in. Even for 2 nights stay Eur300 was required as a deposit payment to be refunded after some time. This impact heavy on cash flow management as it doubled the rate for the 2 nights, we did get the deposit back after a while less taxes and exchange rate differences that added to what you expect to pay. The walls are so thin, even listening to a phone on speaker bothered the people next door. I would not stay here again.

Very close to the beach and 2 lines of metro.

It missed some things in the kitchen.

Lovely property, great for us as a family of 4 with two young children. Enough space, cooking facilities and the park was a great bonus! Walking distance to the beach and other parks nearby for kids entertainment. We used a lot of taxis to tourist attractions to save the little legs getting tired but if it was just adults then walkable to main attractions. Quiet residential area - home from home

- For us the location was OK, we were most of the days on the beach, no other tourist visits. - The communication before and after the stay, we forgot some stuff and the helped us to recover it. - The bed was comfy (hard mattress) however for a couple is not, as they have 2 individual beds. - We didn't use the living room at the apartment 1, the one at apartment 2 is much better (better chairs, table and decoration).

- The huge unexpected deposit and the clean rules to follow before to leave the apartment. - It is missing some hangers for the towels. In the bathroom there is just space to hang one towel on the heater. - The communication with the staff once we were in the apartment. We just asked if it would be possible to have a bit more of toilet paper (we had 2 rolls per 4 people for 3 days). If you don't do this service, it's fine. However, you should answer even if it is a negative answer.
