Casa De Mar - Koh Samui

The room cleaning was horrible. The day we got the room, I found hair on the bed. Only to realise that when they clean the room - they do not change the bedsheets / blankets / towels either. They ONLY make the bed. When I shared the image with them of the hair on my bed, there was zero response. Breakfast options were okaish too! Almost same everyday. Even though there are rooms, they dont give them to you. Also, we specifically had another room booked for sea facing, and they straight said its not available. And another 2 rooms were asked for a higher floor and it wasnt so as well. Definitely would choose to stay in a different property for this cost!

They made us stood for 2 hr at the airport because we booked airport transfer via Agoda but in hotel reservations, it was not included and there was no communication to us. I even paid extra for airport transfer and asked Agoda for return which they refused. I just started having very less trust on Agoda. They always say, talk to property owner. I cannot fight with them to refund my extra money I paid because I’m in a completely new country and don’t want to do such arguments where Agoda should help but they just stopped replying to my messages when I sent them the actual email where they mentioned no airport transfer. Even the room was dirty because there were hairs in the wall. I have all photos and videos but Agoda refuse to help in this situation.

I was quite disappointed with my stay, especially after booking a Deluxe Villa. It seemed that many of the Deluxe Villas were smoking rooms, including around the swimming pool area. Cigarette butts were also left scattered outside the villa, which was unpleasant and affected the overall experience. The breakfast was average and could have offered more variety and better quality. Overall, I expected a better experience from a Deluxe Villa.
