Yuki went above and beyond during our stay. She was so kind, helpful, professional and extremely responsive. She took care of all our needs, book transportation (car rental, boats) and ensure our time in Yakushima was enjoyable. I will come back to Yakushima and will definitely stay at Blue Drop again.

The location was good with on site parking. There were places nearby to eat, which were easy to reach and reasonably priced.

This was definitely our highlight stay of our 3 week trip of Japan. Our host yuki welcomed us warmly and curious about our trip. She helped us with recommendations and logistics, making our adventure in Yakushima be smooth and unforgettable! Our room was spacious, very clean and comfy, the perfect base to start our day trips by car. We were delighted to try the menu of the house both for breakfast, lunchbox and dinner, a blend of local ingredients and japanese cuisine. (Our favourites were the flying fish sashimi and the wine stew beef, and the smoothies with home grown island fruits) We’re looking forward to our next stay at Blue Drop!
