Casa Mirador San Pedro

El mirador que tiene es espectacular, cuidado al mínimo detalle.

This is a lovely place to stay right in the centre of the town, which I did find quite difficult to locate. Fortunately I was on a motorbike, it would have been a challenge to locate if you’re in a car, the streets are extremely narrow. The room was nice, the bathroom and shower were quite small, particularly the shower cubicle. You access the property using a key in key safe by the front door. There’s a lovely rooftop terrace overlooking the town. There is no food or drink available, but the host was very helpful (by text) in recommending a couple of local restaurants, unfortunately both were closed. Fortunately there was a little shop nearby, the lady spoke very good English, I bought a few beers and she made me a lovely sandwich, failing that I would have been very hungry & thirsty after a long day on the bike.

The property is right next to a church and the bells rang until around 10:30, which was not a problem. What was a problem was refuse collectors emptying the bins at 02:00 and not doing it quietly! I mean, who empties bins at that time in the morning! I thought someone was stealing my motorbike, so I got dressed and went to check. Another problem was the workmen who started at 06:30 and clearly weren’t bothered about how much noise they were making. I hasten to add that these two issues were beyond the control of the host. I informed him what had taken place and he apologised profusely and said he was going to complain to the mayor as workers are not supposed to start before 08:00.

Er zijn verschillende factoren die bijdragen aan een 10. De twee belangrijkste zijn het uitzicht vanaf het terras en Juan, beide geweldig! De appartement was ook niet slecht. :-) Als we ooit weer in Arcos zijn, komen we zeker terug!

No breakfast

Room was very small. Power cut in the street both late afternoons was very inconvenient as we had to get ready to go out to wedding functions without electric shower, hair dryer and air con.
