Pierre and Marie and their dogs went out of their way for us.

A large garage for our bikes. Big yard with dogs. Beautiful kitchen for breakfast. Lots of soaps and shampoos and

Superb

The garden was lovely, we had safe undercover storage for our bikes and free on site parking. Jean Pierre and Marie were excellent hosts and the dog was super friendly. A small fridge with a selection of drinks all reasonably priced in our room was replenished daily. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice and we were given homemade cakes to take on our rides. All the preserves at breakfast were homemade and we also had jam and cookies as a gift in our room. There were plenty of toiletries in the bathroom together with fresh towels everyday and bath robes.

The only problem we had was although it says they accept visa etc. they do not and we did not have enough cash to pay the bill which resulted in our host taking us to a cash machine on the morning of our departure to get funds. This was very kind of him but if we had known earlier that cards were a problem we would have made certain to have the cash.

A Gem in Belgium

There was nothing to dislike. In these current times the hosts where exceptionally respectful of all the rules around COVID-19 Upon arrival they made us feel so welcome, It was like visiting family. We were shown all the systems in place to make you feel safe and secure The room was fantastic with everything you could think of including hand sanitiser. The breakfast was amazing. All provided with social distancing Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful home and garden.

If this was breakfast at home I would join Weight Watchers... so much choice even with the COVID-19 issues. Very peaceful neighbourhood, ideal for bycicle trips and long walks. Ideal place to make trips to the old war museum and surroundings and By car not far from the see.

If you can’t stand dogs you’re in for a challenge. They have 2 very nice ones 😉

Everything was amazing, it was immaculately clean, absolutely everything you could need was in the room and the breakfast was out of this world. The hosts were the loveliest.

Heel erg prettig.

Fijne kamer, prettige ontvangst. Ben je toiletspullen vergeten dan kun je gebruiken wat er staat.

Bovekerke is klein maar heeft een bakker/voedingswinkel, café en apotheek. Je moet er zijn om de streek te waarderen. Zoek je vertier, dan verblijf je beter aan de kust. Maar mij is het uitstekend bevallen.
