Wonderful accommodation with stunning views of the rice terraces and a beautiful pool. The location is perfect for trips to Mount Ijen and other nearby activities. It's peaceful, surrounded by nature, making it a truly relaxing experience. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. A thoughtful touch is that guests receive two bath towels plus a separate towel for the pool. This is especially appreciated, as many hotels only provide one towel, leaving nothing extra for drying your hair or washing your hands. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We stayed for two nights and would have happily stayed longer if we had had more time—that says it all! One thing I especially appreciated was that there were no birds kept in cages or fish confined to small ponds. Unfortunately, this is something you often see in accommodations on Java, so it was wonderful to find a place that respects animal welfare in this way.

My tip: It would be great to see a few more vegetarian options on the menu. 😊

Gorgeous gardens and pool. Incredible views.

The setting is completely ruined by the fact that the hotel is located right beside a village that blasts music all day from the early morning until late evening. There are literally people sized speakers facing the resort, centimetres from the pool and rooms. We did the Ijen climb at night, arriving back to blaring music at 8am that was so loud the rooms vibrated from the bass. We got no sleep and could not enjoy the pool. The manager - a lovely man - is well aware of the problem and contacted local authorities but to no avail. It would just start again. So basically, until such time as the hotel management has resolved this conflict with their direct neighbours, would avoid this resort if you are looking for an idyllic nature retreat (as it is being sold online). Such a shame, so much potential at this beautiful spot.
