We liked the location, on the edge of the valley with views across rice paddies. Quiet. Room was spacious. Bathroom functional. Very clean and well maintained.

Need to have a vehicle to explore the local countryside and further afield. When we booked we had to book two rooms for three people, when all we needed was twin room option. Two adults, one child.

Vue, décoration, propreté, confort

An amazing unique cliffside property, tranquil surroundings. While not close to amenities, a lovely mountain village community with cafe is within 3 kms walk or short cycle ride (can hire from hotel). Pool is nice too. Easy to get a driver from arrival at Tain station for all activities. Great half day trip up to Ijen Crater & Lake experience.

The view is fantastic, and also the surroundings very nice. The garden is well kept and the staff very friendly and helping, especially the young woman in charge. They really try their best. Breakfast is alright, and when we had to leave early on our last day, they prepared breakfast boxes.

I don‘t know if Covid hit hard, but the hotel is not in a good condition. It must have been nice once, but now you don’t get great value for the price you pay. The deluxe room we originally booked was too loud because of the power generator right next to it. Thankfully we could change to a smaller room, where there was no noise but the ceiling was moldy. The quilt does not have linen on it, hard to know if it gets cleaned after every guest or not. Also the smaller rooms don‘t have mosquito nets and the terrace door does not close completely, so there are a lot of ants and other insects coming in. The pool was empty and we could not use it (and weren‘t informed about it beforehand.. since we chose the resort also because of the pool, that was unfortunate). Also we only could pay cash, and were only told about it after our arrival which meant that one of the staff had to take me to the nearest ATM. Wifi also does not work at all times. Concerning the food: it is very very basic, and by that I mean instant fried noodles and instant fried rice. Also the food is way overprized for indonesian standards: we paid 65 IPR + 10% tax + 11% service for a small bowl of chicken soup with white rice...
