Great for family gatherings
We rented two gites for the Christmas period to host 3 generations of family members . The double gîtes are both spacious and immaculate. There is a very large room between the two appartements with ample space to dine as a large group.Although we did not maximize, it could sit 18 easily. The kitchens are well kitted out with everything you need to prepare a fancy meal. The bedrooms are very comfortable, there are two bathrooms per gîte which saves queuing, the gites are very well heated.The owners live onsite and are accommodating and quickly responsive. There is access to a lovely garden with chairs by the fish pond and table and benches to eat outside in the summer. The house is situated at the top of the hill with views over Tournai and on a very quiet little country road. There is ample free off road parking , on the private drive.
The sofas in the main house are garden furniture, so not terribly comfortable.However there are other standard sofas to relax in each kitchen areas.

Well designed wardrobe & comfortable mattress. Extra heater in the bathroom is a nice plus! Everything is new and tidy.
A rooster will wake me up in the early morning but our children will do the same to me anyway...

Very friendly owners, a comfortable well equipped house with beautiful lands including a zen Japanese garden and a meadow with horses and a superb view.
