Kinzi House

Property was central to everything. Great little location. Owners were friendly and very helpful. This place is fantastic value. We stayed as a family of 5 and extended our stay because we enjoyed it. Accessible by car or tour for Troy and Gallipoli. Lots of restaurants, cafes and bars located right on your doorstep. While you can hear noise from the street we didn’t find this particularly loud - even with kids and it overnight and mornings are very quiet. Not a detractor overall and for the location the convenience outweighs any concerns from noise being so close to everything.

We had a wonderful stay in Çanakkale. Our host was fantastic: warm, helpful and always happy to explain things, show us around and help us find the shops we needed. We were travelling with my elderly grandmother and hadn’t realised how steep the stairs would be. When our host found out, he kindly offered us the larger, better room on the ground floor at no extra charge, so she wouldn’t have to climb to the second floor. This thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us. We’re very grateful for his kindness and would happily recommend staying here!

As the property is right in the city centre, it can be noisy in the evenings. This was expected, but it’s worth keeping in mind when booking.

The hotel’s location is within walking distance to the Trojan horse, supermarket and eateries. The owner Mustafa is very helpful. As the street on which the hotel sits is closed to cars, he came to the adjacent street to help us with our luggages and guided my hubby to a free parking lot. He also gave us a free room upgrade so that my hubby needs not sleep in the living room.

Having to climb staircase

The apartment was clean and practically furnished, and it was a perfect base for us for the last night of our holiday in Turkey. Mustafa was extremely helpful and friendly. He even helped us communicate with the parking attendant nearby, translating from Turkish into English, which made our very early departure the next morning completely smooth and stress-free. The location of the apartment is excellent. The access code for the gate and the check-in process were both very straightforward and hassle-free. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this apartment!
