Holiday Home El Brezal

We were all in all much satisfied with our choice. Ana is probably the most welcoming and responsive host we ever experienced. The property is spacious and clean, the premises are beautiful, the beds are very comfortable, and it is very private and quiet. We were a bit unlucky with the weather, it was raining most of the time, and therefore a bit chilly also inside, but there is a fire place in the living room that we used in the evenings, and Ana also brought us a heater. it takes about 30 min from there to get to the Western coast (Agaete), and a bit more than an hour to get to Maspalomas in the South, where one could enjoy sun even when it kept raining in the Northern highlands. It was also a good base for hiking in the beautiful Tamadaba national park.

There is no ventilation in the bathroom, and it would have been nice with a dishwasher.

A la hora de llegar que no me dijeran por donde ir. Pues la carretera por donde te lleva el GPS es muy estrecha y cuesta arriba. Cuando hay alternativa por carreteras más anchas

La limpieza, el aspecto tan acogedor de la casa y la sobre todo el recibimiento, la atención y disposición de Ana, la dueña de la casa. Fue muy amable, le pedimos juntar una de las camas pequeñas en la habitación de matrimonio y solicitamos una cuna y cuando llegamos estaba todo preparado. Encantadora la verdad. Repetiría sin dudarlo.

La carretera para llegar es un poco “peligrosa” cuando no la conoces (estrecha, bidireccional y con curvas) pero así se esconden los mejores lugares. Por otro lado, no me resultó cómoda la almohada de la cama de matrimonio, aunque es algo a lo que personalmente no le doy mucha importancia.
