We hadden hier een gezellig huisje gehuurd. Het huisje was lekker ruim, 2 badkamers en er was een heerlijk zwembad. Vaak was er verder niemand bij het zwembad dus leek het bijna een privé zwembad.
De bedden waren erg hard.

Staying at Parco degli Aranci was like living in an Italian movie. The historic building where we stayed , the pool, and the gardens were beautiful. The infinity pool is filled with salt water, surrounded by shady trees, and gorgeous. We have relatives in the area and the location was perfect. But even if you don’t have friends or relatives nearby, this property is in an excellent location for exploring Salento. There are many sights to see. We went to Galatina for apperativo and a festival, to Lecce to see the historic sights, and we visited our favorite ceramics store/factory — Coli, also in Cutrofiano. A special treat was breakfast every morning. Ticia made our favorite breakfast beverage — cappuccinos — and created a savory and sweet breakfast buffet, with oranges and other fruit grownl on the property and hard-boiled eggs from the chickens. Parco degli Aranci is a very special place and we look forward to visiting again soon!

De locatie was top. Centraal gelegen met mogelijkheden in een straal van 25 km. om de hele hak van de laars te ontdekken. Genoeg stranden om naartoe te gaan en leuke plaatsjes in de omgeving.
Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk en door Anna prima verzorgd. De eigenaar Marco en zijn familie waren supervriendelijk en heel gastvrij. Uitgenodigd voor een heerlijke pizzaproeverij. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.
