Prachtig authentiek en super locatie, vlakbij het Marktplein.

Beetje onhandig dat je door de gezamenlijke hal naar de keuken moest en deze daarom steeds op slot moest doen.

The location could simply not have been better for access to the city of Rothenburg. We could see the corner of the main square (Marktplazt) from the front window of the room - really it was about half a block away! We did not use the kitchen as we didn’t bring groceries but it looked like you could cook there and there was a nice table. I never saw even a place to buy milk to use with the provided coffee as we wandered inside the old city, so I think you have to pick up supplies before you get there if you plan to use the kitchen. The bedroom itself was large with a little table and sofa. The one thing you have to keep in mind is that the building is about 600 years old, which makes it very atmospheric, but with that age comes some things like the ceilings being short (watch you head as you go into the kitchen!), and the floors creak and are sloped. The host met us to give us the keys and pointed out where to park outside the city walls which was cheaper than inside.

We didn’t discover until the next morning that additional (and different) pillows were in the cupboard. Look for those if you don’t like the ones on the bed.

Unglaublich geschmackvolle und sorgsame Restaurierung und tlw. Modernisierung des Hauses/Wohnung aus dem 14Jh. Der Charakter wurde gewahrt, trotzdem erwartet den Gast eine komfortable Wohnung. Insbesondere die Sanitäreinrichtung entspricht höchstem Standard. Auch die Lage zentral in der Altstadt (wobei die Zufahrt möglich und erlaubt ist) kann für den Stadtbesucher nicht besser sein. Parkplätze sind fußläufig binnen weniger Minuten (außerhalb der Stadtmauer) erreichbar (aktuell € 8,--/24h)

Zu bemängeln gibt es nun wirklich nichts - eine Klimaanlage in einem Mittelalter-Haus darf man sich nicht erwarten. Einen kleinen Verbesserungsvorschlag hinsichtlich Hausmüll - ein entsprechender Eimer mit getrennten Fächern würde die obligatorische Trennung erleichtern.
