Riverside Glanworth

Great location for exploring Cork. Lovely family who run the B&B. Beautiful breakfast every morning and great craic.

This is a classic B&B gem. The guest area is very private and Liam is there at breakfast to entertain in inform. Our party ended at 3am but we had no problem getting to our rooms and Liam gave us a late breakfast. The rooms were large and comfortable. I'd stay again next time I'm in the area.

There wasn't anything to dislike. We were guests in the best possible way. We had space and privacy but we also had help and local color.

The breakfast was great and Liam adapted it especially for us. He also put it on very early, which was much appreciated. He is a great host and gave us an entertaining window into the local history and life at Riverside.

Hard pushed to think of anything!

We loved our stay here, but it's not where we would usually stay. The listing was a bit hit and miss with the description. IE, Is the private bathroom inside the room or outside. We found out on arrival it was outside the room. We made the most of it and it didn't upset us. Liam is a wonderful old bloke, loves to chat! Breakfast was good and set us on our way happy. The room was very spacious and had a table with 2 chairs, so we could sit and play cards etc. It's not close to anything, so you need to have everything you need for the night before you arrive.
