D-House

- excellent location, many bus stops nearby (2,3,4 all heading to Valletta) - many nice restaurants, brunch, coffee places nearby - clean streets, nice area

- more cleaning needed, dust everywhere in the apartment - A/C in the bedroom, iron was not working - very noisy mornings around 9AM as there are many tourist visiting these streets, it was not easy sleeping - low, and a bit uncomfortable bed

Quiet historical area, romantic house (called tower) with 3 floors, and top terrace, near to the central square of Birgu, where is the owners restaurant aswell (named D'Centre with good selection on fair prices). Bus No. 2 or 3 take You to Valletta, or small boat for 3 euros from the bay. Birgu is underestimated and has a real maltese feeling with all comfort for tourism. Have a good coffee in harbour (Birgi), or fine pizza (in the local Vittoriosa Star Fc's Pub), and all small needs in shop "Taste of Malta". The closest Convenience supermarket is in Bromla-Bay

Humidity inside, some repair must.

An excellent location in a beautiful part of the town. The whole area was historically attractive with most of the traditional buildings being 4-500 years old. The locals were friendly and helpful. All facilities including the waterfront were close at hand. A bus stop was located in the central square about 100m walk from our accommodation.

The stairs would not have suited anyone with mobility issues, particularly the two higher levels. Some instructions for the washing machine would have been helpful.

location is very good and you can walk around Birgu at ease and the night scene is beautiful too.

There is smell of mold in the kitchen and the colours are so dark that you cannot see the mold easily (the walls are dark grey and dark green, exactly the mold colour). The worst thing was there was construction works opposite to the house and next to the house during my 3 day stay. I was woke up by the noise at 7:30 am in the morning. If you want a chill stay better not to pick this house.
