Bed & Breakfast Casa Marinella

Case Marinella is unlike any B&B. Located in the beautiful mountains in northern Italy along the Brembo river, the home is everything you expect. From the gracious hosts, Marino & Cinzia, the historical home, the most amazing “cave” as its dining room, the opportunity to explore the valley and much, much more. Easily accessible from Milan (less than 2 hours on highways and regional roads.

Nothing.

The property is charming. You will need to ask yourself if you enjoy rustic, traditional, country style. If you dislike this, you won't value the property so much. The hosts are absolutely lovely and made my weekend stay here a very positive experience and a fond memory. The breakfast is fantastic and Marino's enthusiasm for the produce and also the region I was visiting was delightful to see. They produce a lot of products which they serve at breakfast (jams, honey, cheese, juice...apple strudel made from the apples outside! Amazing) and you can also buy. The room I was in was cosy and I slept very well. I appreciated the feeling of not being in a hotel but in a place that is more welcoming and personal. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet.

Despite all the positives, I can see why people question the price at face value. It is a little high...but at the same time, I left with very happy memories of the place and that is valuable in itself! After all, it's not a fancy hotel but it's not meant to be and that's why I loved it!

Rewelacja, jak ktoś szuka cichego zakątku w górach bez turystów. Właściciel Marino cudowna osoba o wielu zainteresowaniach a śniadanie przepyszne z własnymi wyrobami łącznie z pieczonymi ciastami. Po południu w gorący dzień maliny i arbuz na podwieczorek, to było cudowne. Okolica przepiękna, łatwy dojazd z Bergamo.Chcemy tam jeszcze wrócić.

Das Zimmer war sauber.

Der Gastgeber war für unseren Geschmack ein bisschen zu aufdringlich. Ich kann verstehen, dass es womöglich Gäste gibt, die über freundlich gemeinte Hinweise oder Angebote dankbar gewesen wären. Uns war es jedoch etwas zu viel und wir hätten uns etwas mehr Zurückhaltung gewünscht. Darüber hinaus hatte unser Zimmer kein eigenes Bad und das Zimmer wirkte eher wie ein Gästezimmer für Freunde oder Bekannte und nicht wie eine Unterkunft, die über Booking.com angeboten wird.
