Die Unterkunft ist super schön zwischen Barberino und Tavarnelle gelegen. Das Apartment Begonie ist etwas separat, so dass man Privatsphäre genießen kann. Die Vermieter Gabriella und Gianfranco sind unfassbar nett und versuchen einem jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Falls das Italienisch nicht reicht, hilft der Enkel (?) Silvio weiter, der auch Englisch spricht und ab und zu da ist. Das Apartment ist italienisch gemütlich, von der eigenen Terrasse aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf San Gimignano. Der Poolbereich ist wie der gesamt Garten geschmackvoll angelegt. Wir waren schon oft in der Toskana, kannten aber den Westen, der uns sehr gut gefallen hat, nicht. Tolle Lage mit kurzen Strecken nach Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano und Volterra.

Es fällt uns schwer bei den netten Gastgebern irgendetwas Negatives zu sagen. Wenn, dann dass die Schlafcouch und die Klappstühle draußen etwas unbequem sind.

The apartment was spacious and relatively comfortable. It's best quality is its location in the Tuscany country side. You will need a car to get around, but all the big sights of Tuscany are less than an hour's drive away.

We booked this property for 5 adults using a search criteria of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The apartment allocated to us had 3 bedrooms but only had ONE bathroom! Booking.com did nothing to help resolve this situation after we contacted them on day 2 of an 8 night stay. The 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment is apparently only for 6 adults! However, Booking.com could have resolved the issue by telling the host to move us as the other apartment was empty at that time. When a group did move in, it was a group less than 6 adults. BE CAREFUL HOW YOU BOOK THIS PROPERTY IF YOU HAVE A LARGE NUMBER IN YOUR GROUP. One bathroom shared by 5 adults ruined the stay at this property. It was Booking.com who told the host which apartment to put us in, and Booking.com did NOTHING to help resolve the issue.
