I loved the lushness of the gardens and mosaic paths creating a flowing relaxed atmosphere. I loved the sound of the ocean. It was loud and beautiful. I loved watching the red dragonfly’s dance when I’d have an evening swim in the pool. I loved the happy dogs that always seemed to be doing the rounds and completely on their own missions. I loved the peace! Wonderful staff and awesome, caring, calm owners. Thank-you Matt and Putu for making me feel so welcomed yet somehow understanding the space I needed/didn’t realise I needed. My stay with you was truly magical.
The Les Waterfalls is a must!
I felt mentally cleansed after my short stay. I only wish I’d booked here for a longer.
There were bugs but it’s to be expected. I’d take bugs in the Tejakula jungle over persistent (follow you down the street) hagglers Legian any day.
I actually became obsessed with all of the exotic interesting bugs and flora.

We loved our stay here. We had a gorgeous comfortable private room with a terrace right next to the ocean with a lovely outdoor bathroom with good hot water all day. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. The hosts Putu and Matt have worked hard to create a wonderful sanctuary for guests in addition to contributing to the local economy, the staff here are their neighbours and friends.The food was fantastic, fresh and delicious! Villa Selina is situated way off the main road in a quiet and friendly green village neighbourhood and is very safe and peaceful. The pool is nice and at high tide we enjoyed swimming and snorkeling in the ocean directly in front of the hotel. Putu and Matt arranged a very friendly and knowledgeable local driver for us to visit Les Waterfall and Bali Pure home industry ( highly recommended village social enterprise) If you love animals you will also enjoy meeting the cute rescue cats and dogs that live here!
