Villa Selina was a real surprise for me. Envelopped into a wonderful green environment, closed to the beach. The owners Putu and Matthew are really amazing and kind hosts and all the staff is really lovely. If you like a quiet place, stunning sunrises to be watched with a nice coffee just from a sunbed at Villa Selina, you are in the perfect place. There are some kind house dogs and cats living in this place, in the morning you are waked up with birds singings. Here you find the authentic and simple balinaise life far away from the rush and the noise and you can also ask for a massage lady or a healer which will directly come here to Villa Selina. Yesterday I had even my nails done by a very kind lady, she did an amazing job. I was here for 3 weeks and I took the time to write a book. It's really an inspiring place. There is a security guard checking every night and its soooooooo wonderful quiet. Thank you for my wonderful stay, I really loved it!

I loved the lushness of the gardens and mosaic paths creating a flowing relaxed atmosphere. I loved the sound of the ocean. It was loud and beautiful. I loved watching the red dragonfly’s dance when I’d have an evening swim in the pool. I loved the happy dogs that always seemed to be doing the rounds and completely on their own missions. I loved the peace! Wonderful staff and awesome, caring, calm owners. Thank-you Matt and Putu for making me feel so welcomed yet somehow understanding the space I needed/didn’t realise I needed. My stay with you was truly magical.
The Les Waterfalls is a must!
I felt mentally cleansed after my short stay. I only wish I’d booked here for a longer.
There were bugs but it’s to be expected. I’d take bugs in the Tejakula jungle over persistent (follow you down the street) hagglers Legian any day.
I actually became obsessed with all of the exotic interesting bugs and flora.
