It was exactly as I expected, basic room with old furnitures, quiet inside, a bit noisy for the traffic. Basic breakfast from Fornetti

For the price, it was better than I expected.
The hotel is definitely past its prime and feels like time stopped there many years ago. However, the staff were friendly, and the place was very clean. There was no bad smell, no sign or risk of bedbugs, and both the towels and bed linen smelled fresh. Hot shower working!
Unfortunately, breakfast was a little bit of a disappointment: coffee in a cardboard cup and a few jam-filled pastry cookies in a paper bag, no salty option. However, fresh and tasty.
