I can’t really rate the hotel itself — I slept exactly 6 hours and immediately continued my journey.

I booked this hotel while on the road after 12 hours of driving, simply to sleep for a few hours and continue my journey in the morning. Before paying for the non-refundable booking, I did not see any information that check-in was only until 10 PM. I only found out from the confirmation afterward. I called at 10:30 PM to let them know and arrived around 11 PM. I appreciate that they waited for me, but after 12 hours of driving, listening to a long lecture about their working hours and how everyone wanted to go home was unnecessary. For a roadside hotel, a 10 PM check-in limit seems impractical. This should either be clearly stated BEFORE payment for a non-refundable booking, or the hotel should offer self check-in available 24/7.
