Dorothea is a wonderful host. She was very hospitable and welcoming. The property was meticulously clean and there's a facility to buy water and drinks there. Dorothea speaks very good English (which was really helpful as our Italian is pretty basic) and provided some excellent recommendations on where we could eat in Martina Franca and more locally.

There was nothing about our stay that we didn't like. I would recommend a hire car as the property is several kilometres from the local town. Dorothea was able to suggest a very helpful and reliable driver who we used throughout our stay.

Dorothea was a fabulous host. Our room was perfect. We didn't stay in a Trulli but loved our attic style room. Great little semi private terrace for sun time. Breakfast was superb and the pool and honesty bar were great additions to make our stay even better.

Narrow roads leading to the location but no problems finding it overall.

Trulli D’autore is a small paradise! The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The air is fragrant with flowers. Beautiful hostess Dorotea makes you feel welcome from the minute you arrive. Our room was immaculate and cleaned daily, with fresh towels and pool towels. The pool is exactly as pictured on the website, with palm trees, flowers and very comfortable sun beds, umbrellas, chairs and tables. Fantastic breakfast is served daily in a lovely garden shaded by kiwi vines! We were treated to fresh eggs, homemade capicollo, locally made cheese, yogurt, fruit, and cakes made by Dorothea’s Mom! Dorotea and her family have thought of everything to make your stay amazing. We are grateful we were lucky enough to stay there and highly recommend it to everyone.
