They kindly provided a airport shuttle for me at 4am for my early flight. The hotel is only a few minutes from the airport. They also changed my reservation at the last minute to a double with two double beds to accommodate a friend traveling with me.
It was an older Guatemalan style house made into a "hotel". The downstairs was very cluttered with knickknacks, furniture and too many Christmas decorations - not my style but I guess it was theirs. The older man who checked us in was not very friendly and the check in system slow. There are stairs up to the rooms and we had to take up our luggage so I left my big suitcase downstairs. The bedroom and bathroom were rather small. My bed sagged at the side but I was able to sleep ok in the middle. We came in late to only spend the night for an early morning flight. It was ok as an airport stop over but I wouldn't have been comfortable staying there longer.
