Mancanze di aria condizionata, interno appartamento da svecchiare

Posto molto bello molto curato. La piscina e la piccola chiesetta sono una chicca in un panorama bellissimo. Gentilissimi i proprietari.

Il podere è davvero silenzioso e molto carino, soprattutto all’esterno, ed è immerso in un bel contesto. Anche all’interno la casa è accogliente e ben riscaldata. L’arredamento è piuttosto datato (letti, mobili, quadri), ma non rappresenta un grosso problema. Gli spazi sono ampi: il salone è grande, le camere sono comunicanti e, nonostante ci sia un solo bagno, l’organizzazione è risultata comunque gestibile. Nota molto positiva: asciugamani e lenzuola erano indicati come a pagamento, ma la proprietaria ce li ha forniti gratuitamente, gesto molto apprezzato.

La cucina era dotata solo dello stretto indispensabile. Erano presenti padelle e stoviglie, ma alcune le abbiamo trovate sporche e abbiamo dovuto lavarle a mano. C’erano il bollitore e la macchinetta del caffè, ma mancavano completamente beni di prima necessità: niente caffè, tè o tisane, niente sale, olio o altri condimenti, nessun tovagliolo o carta, nemmeno una bottiglia d’acqua. Non ci si aspetta una cucina completamente fornita, ma almeno il minimo essenziale, soprattutto per un alloggio per 4 persone. Inoltre, non era specificato che questi elementi non fossero inclusi, quindi ce lo saremmo aspettati. I cuscini dei letti decisamente da sostituire.

We were surprised that the hosts spoke very little English, which means that you can not get almost any help, direction, or tips about the surrounding area. The property looks lovely; the garden and the pool are beautiful and well kept. Its seems to be a hobby of the owners who live in different apartment in the same cottage. The apartment is dark with an old “grandmother style” furniture and equipment who seemed to be left by the previous tenant. Although the kitchen is equipped and there is also a washing machine, however, no soap is provided not to wash the dishes or to wash your hand, and only one toilet paper is provided for a family of four for a week. When I asked for hand soap, I was told that the apartment does not include one, since I don’t have, they can loan me one. As a tourist, I didn’t think I should bring these kinds of stuff over on my vacation. We thought maybe this is a standard in this area however we found out that in other places that we stayed in, the standard was much higher. In 35-40 degrees, the apartment is terribly hot, and the owner does not bother to invest 15 euro to buy a fan. In the sunny country as Italy where you expect to enjoy the sunlight, you need to close all shades to have the apartment a bit cooler than the outside but it is still very very hot and with no airflow of any kind and very dark. The beds were not comfortable. Other owners/hosts were much more generous in their hospitality. In the holiday, the family celebrated, and we had to close all the windows due to smoke from the BBQ area. We were annoyed by the mosquitoes, other apartments included anti mosquitos’ stuff, but this apartment only included the minimum required with no efforts to make your stay pleasant We felt like we were getting in their way.
