Bed and breakfast Placzek

Room was comfy enough, but the breakfast was absolutely awesome. The breakfast is served restaurant-style with a selection from a menu, with lots of great healthy and hearty options. The room is well-appointed and spacious with all the stuff one usually needs. The staff was polite an courteous. I would especially like to thank the staff for accommodating our late arrival in a reasonable manner. The location is an easy walk away from the Brno main train station and the Svobody square, so one can get around easily from this place.

Beware: spiral staircase. In fairness, it's not something the owners have control over or would be able to change. The staircase core of the building, while it looks new and modernly safe, is one of those spiral ones and might be tricky for some people.

Individual, non-corporate, a little quirky with style. Very attentive and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Perfect location in a beautiful part of the city.

The room was a bit of a climb to rooms above the cafe. Good exercise. Although my bathroom was intended to be shared with the neighbouring room, that was unoccupied so I had the run of it. Brno is a lovely city and I enjoyed wandering around. Breakfast was included and was substantial and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Too much garlic in the avocado !! No other criticism.
