The location is central and it feels safe. Advice: follow their instructions sent via emails, because there is no sign anywhere along the street.

It’s a self check-in accommodation so if something happens, there is nobody to ask for assistance.

We loved this place! There is not much room, but it has everything we needed in a tidy apartment to keep the cost very reasonable. 2 of us stayed in a studio apartment and were perfectly comfortable. Clean bathroom, everything you could want in a small kitchen inc. all utensils and small appliances and dining table. Steps from metro, many cafes, restaurants, groceries, and very doable walk to the Seine. In the heard of Paris culture.

The only flaw for us was that our windows opened to the courtyard, where people would go to smoke.Smoking in Paris in general is much more present than we like. It was middle of summer, so windows needed to be open for ideal comfort, although they had 2 nice fans. There are rooms that do not open to courtyard, so I'd request that. I would still say here despite the smoke issue and I strongly dislike smoking. The courtyard is nice with beautiful vines over the windows, Be sure to open your emails in advance for a smooth check-in. There is no receptionist or a check-in counter, so it could make things difficult if you are not prepared. It was seamless for us.

La Marais is gorgeous, so lively. Shops and supermarkets on the door stop with the metro very close by. The apartment was small but served all our needs.

Not a fault with the property, but it's a lively street. We were there at the weekend and when people finish partying on that street, they tend to stand in the street at 4/ 5am and have lots of conversations. The double glazing is very good and drowned out most of it, but bring ear plugs just in case.
