Very nice and super clean apartment in a quiet residential area of Funchal. Easy access to old town, restaurants and supermarkets. The host, Hugo is very kind and offers a pick up and drop off from and to the airport which is a nice gesture. He has a wealth of knowledge of the area and communication is excellent. There is also a bottle of wine and a Madeira sugar cane syrup cake, cookies and assortment of fruits to welcome the guests. The beautiful courtyard offers a sanctuary of peace in the middle of the day.

Well located, quiet, with a charming little courtyard, and the host could not be more helpful and available. It was very comfortable for hanging out and resting after a day of sightseeing.
