Great location, fantastic views, friendly helpful host. Beautifully clean room, well laid out with amazing attention to detail. Peaceful, we slept really well - would thoroughly recommend.

Great location close to town and the river. Parking sometimes possible outside on the street (4 hour limit or if arriving after 2pm can stay till 1pm next day) but very cheap car park nearby too. Easy short drives to many Was lovely to have the self contained flat so could benefit from separate bedrooms and living room/kitchenette. Tv in each room - although we didn’t use, could be benefit for some. Perfect for a few days away. Although weather hot, there were fans provided and being on a hill we found the ventilation from the windows was great anyway.

We managed fine but narrow winding stairs to flat in roof area could be hard to manage for some (good hand rails provided). Quirkiness of the roof space is slopping floors which made sitting in the living room chairs a bit strange! - just part of the style and age of the house though.
