Aloha and welcome to your dream vacation destination in Kauai! Let me introduce you to our cozy beach bungalow, located in the sunny south shore of the island. You'll be staying in Building 27 and entering unit #175, an oceanview condo on the Kiahuna "Great Lawn." This is the spot you want to be!
As you step into this one-bedroom, one-bath condo, you'll be welcomed by tropical breezes and plenty of natural light. You'll feel the island vibe the moment you walk in. And when you're ready to hit the beach, it's just a 45-second walk away! Award-winning Poipu Beach is waiting for you, with its white sand and crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and surfing. Or if you prefer a more laid-back day, relax under one of the swaying palm trees on the meticulously maintained lawn.
Unit 175 has everything you need for your stay, including a fully-stocked kitchen if you choose to dine in. Outdoor grills are also available on the lawn, perfect for a BBQ under the stars. The king-size bed and pull-out sofa sleeper ensure comfortable sleeping arrangements, while the upgraded granite counters and lighter paint scheme add a touch of luxury to your stay. And when you need to freshen up, the bath boasts a large shower and separate vanity area. Laundry facilities are also just a short walk away.

It was very soothing, sitting on the lanai and watching "trade winds TV." Our only complaint is the dismal lighting over the dining table. Additional lighting would make a HUGE difference.

Such a lovely property, we have stayed at the units in kiahuna and this one was great. Close to the beach and the nice great lawn, can’t wait to come again

We live on Oahu and visited Kauai for the first time.
Pros:
Centrally located. About an hour up the west coast and hour ish up the east coast to the north.
The pool access is great for young kids. It’s about .4 mi walk each direction so just a heads up if you’re walking and carrying stuff or have little kids that need assistance. You can drive, there’s parking.
The sunset is beautiful from this specific unit.
We personally didn’t use any of the beach equipment but we did notice it in the closet.
Cons:
We lost power for a few hours which was unfortunate it was right during my son’s nap time so the fans went off. I was worried about the food in the fridge going bad.
We came in the beginning of January and the water is rough. Drowning is on the top of the list for causes of death in Hawaii. My kids have grown up on Oahu and I still did not have them swimming at the beach here because it was too rough, a narrow strip of sand, steep drop to the water and crowded. I’m not sure how the water is there during other times of the year.
The sofa pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable and loud. I slept on that with my younger son because he is an early riser and the slightest gentlest turn woke us both up. We did not sleep well at all on the pull out bed.
There were some cracks in the tile on the lanai so I had to keep reminding my kids not to walk on them to avoid them cutting their foot.
Not enough bath towels
Because of the sofa bed- I would not book this particular unit.
