Absolute Bliss

Fantastic position and very comfortable. Very clean and well equipped. Loved the river taxi to Stratford and fabulous nature all around. Luxury a bath in the lodge and a riser recliner in the lounge ! The lodge is positioned in the best position on the site you have a view of fields and sheep too the side and the River Avon directly at the front. Absolute Bliss. Thank you. Great communication from owners and easy to book on booking.com

Exceptional property

Location being by the river and all the nature. Cleanliness of the property and the surroundings The Art in the property was stunning and all painted by the owner. The swans visit with their cygnets come right up to the property was so nice. The area is so clean and maintained to a high standard. The parking is great it is right next to the property.

No shop on site had to walk out of avon park and up the main road to a spar. The restaurant across the bridge was very exspensive. The mini golf not very good we thought it was free but wasn't.

Many Spiders in home with wasps. Location at entrance to dog walking convenience also right next to river slip way making one's car in way for launching and recovery.

Perfectly pleasant, bit costly with few issues.

The view, the peace, the location to the city, quiet. Very comfortable beds. Lovely area and people. Their was plenty to love about the place. However, there were issues.

Instructed to strip the beds when we left, also to take the bin bag out with us, 2 coffee cups with lipstick on from previous guests, obvious dust on surfaces, no teabag/sugar/coffee available. No bluray/dvd player, even though listed in facilities. For 200£ a night, I felt that I shouldn't have to deal with stripping the beds or bin bags on my leave.

The hosts were wonderfully helpful and we could have happily stayed for weeks.

The location beside the Avon River is simply fabulous. Enjoyed walks up and downstream beside the meandering waters. Could have sat watching the water pass by for hours but also needed to wander around Stratford-upon-Avon, so was torn between these two great pleasures.

The weather was so beautifully warm that it got a bit hot inside but opening all the windows fixed that problem quickly!

Excellent stay in a beautiful lodge with amazing views

Very comfortable lodge with amazing views, very quiet and peaceful with a lovely walk into Stratford, the lodge had everything you could wish for. The bar area on the Park was very good for outside dining.

Disappointed the river taxi wasn’t running into Stratford.
