Facilities should be little more updated. But still very good.

Pool was close

I did not plan on leaving a review but after what I experienced I feel it is necessary. The homestay is located down a back alley street that immediately feels uncomfortable and sketchy. When I first arrived I honestly thought I was being dropped off in the middle of nowhere and felt uneasy just trying to find the reception area. The property is run by two brothers and the surrounding block appears to be controlled by their family. During my stay I was repeatedly disrespected and my time was not valued. I spent hours answering questions and helping them with business related advice while I was on vacation. I did not come to Bali to fix someone else’s business or act as an unpaid consultant. Eventually I asked one of the brothers to stop communicating with me. I sent the message clearly and even in his language. He acknowledged receiving it and then continued approaching me anyway. When I again asked him to leave me alone he became aggressive and kept coming toward me. I had to shout for him to back away and stop talking to me. I was genuinely uncomfortable and felt threatened. What made this worse was that the other owner did nothing to intervene or protect me. Later when I calmly explained what had happened he did not acknowledge me at all. Instead he was focused on fiddling with objects checking his watch and making offerings while I was speaking. He made it clear he did not want to hear what I had to say and dismissed the situation by referring to karma rather than addressing the issue directly. A language barrier does not excuse a complete lack of acknowledgment. Cleanliness is also a concern. There were electrical wires hanging in the shower and a noticeable sewage smell. Sleep was extremely difficult. My entire stay coincided with construction so there was nonstop noise from early morning until late afternoon.

Excellent location close to the airport and Kuta Beach. Equal walking distance to both. Staff were incredibly helpful, even driving me to the airport last minute as it was raining. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was clean and great to cool off.

Great location. Value for money. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved the airport drop off service from the host.

Good sized room, big refrigerator, kettle. Old style decorative ceiling. Aircon worked well and tv was ok. Nice young man carried my bags up and gave me cold water. Another young man then brought me a fresh towel.

No toilet paper and no bidet. Noise from building works was loud and annoying but not hotels fault. I wanted to have a swim when I arrived but I felt uncomfortable because a number of male staff were hanging out around the pool. They really need to address that.

Been here a few times now, great for Jerman Beach and the airport. Can also book a ride to the airport.

It’s all good, and we will stay again.

Pool was nice. Staff were friendly and helped me set up my eSIM which was greatly appreciated.
