Owner and staff are very polite, cheerful and helpful.
Bed linen are cleaned daily, as is the whole rest of the property.
Breakfast is full of options, environment is relaxed and river front.
Mattresses are comfortable

Staff was nice and helpful. View of the river out back is beautiful. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was very impressive.
The quality of the room for the price is pretty bad. We paid about $50/night for a private room for 2 people (granted it had extra beds in it), and while it was comfortable enough, it looked like it was falling apart (walls visibly wet with humidity, kinda dirty). In every other place we’ve traveled in Brazil, a place like this would probably cost about half. That said, it seems like accommodation is expensive (for what your get) in this whole region, and the alternative options were much more expensive.

Location was great & the staff were friendly.
The hostel is very noisy as it's near the road.
At close to midnight, staff was checking guest in. Almost impossible to sleep.
