The gardens and the setting were magnificent with lots to explore

There were no towels in the unit which wasn’t communicated, which was an unnecessary expense. The electricity transformer near the kitchen was noisy in the evening if you left the window open. The spiral staircase was very narrow & not suitable for pensioners.

Property and surroundings were perfect for a get away and spending valuable family time together. The grounds for walking and exploring are amazing. The remote location and being off grid is perfect for a relaxing tranquil time away.

The only slight issue was hot water, but after noticing the boost button on the control unit cured the issue.

Perfect to get away from everything - remote, with beautiful gardens & surrounding countryside. Fabulous wood-burning stove :o) A quick, easy drive into Newport Pembrokeshire & the great Golden Lion pub :o)

We had a great stay, and it was good value for money, the grounds were beautiful and it’s really off the beaten track. The house was ok, nicely laid out and we loved sitting around the big dining table eating breakfast or dinner. Kitchen is very well stocked, new frying pan would be a bonus.

Just a few minor issues that didn’t really bother us. It was very creaky and a weird electrical humming sound in one of the bedrooms. Although we couldn’t do anything about the humming, we realised the creaking was a door upstairs, once left open at night, a lot less scary! The house is a little tired, there were a few spiders in corners, it could be a little cleaner. When we arrived the previous occupants or cleaners had left loads of stinky rubbish by the back door, I had to move it away from the house, and it was all collected on Monday morning, so no problem. Please make it more obvious that towels not supplied, I only realised this from reading previous feedback after booking.
