A wonderful retreat. Warm and cosy. Bed took sometime to get used to but extremely comfortable.

The shower head could do with a better holder.

The Cowstall is located in the most glorious Sussex countryside. The views and the walks from the doorstep are incredible. We were blessed with beautiful weather and I spent most of my time sitting outside. It was an incredibly relaxing, quiet, perfect place to retreat to, and satisfied all my holiday needs. Small but perfectly formed. The owners were really helpful before we arrived and then stayed absolutely out of our way, which is what we wanted. We knew we could contact them if necessary but felt no need to. And the local pub, The Blackboys Inn, is amazing and a very short walk away. Absolutely the break from reality we needed and wanted. Thank you

Please could there be a few more cups and glasses, if only to reduce the number of times we needed to put the dishwasher on/wash up and save on water. But apart from that, everything was excellently provided for, and we really appreciated the provision of dishwasher and clothes washing tablets. The stairs to the bedroom are slightly difficult to navigate in the dark, so a nightlight at the bottom might be helpful, but the bed was inordinately comfortable and we slept really, really well.

Location, cosiness, quiet. That plus very dog friendly.

Nothing particularly. Stairs to bed steep so if you have mobility issues be careful. Also low vaulted ceiling above bed - watch your head. But makes it cosy.
