The staff were amazing and the property was absolutely wonderful.
The food in the restaurant and the activities were a hi-light!
A pool would have been nice but not a deal breaker.

The restaurant is very ethnic in its design, upstairs and facing vegetation on all sides. Peaceful and atmospheric. The food was good, mostly focused on vegetarian dishes. The staff was highly courteous. The mosquito screen separating the room from the bathroom closed automatically with magnets, an excellent invention!
Coffee was not included in the set continental breakfast, which I found regrettable.
As soon as you arrived, they 'pushed' you to do excursions or activities organized by the resort. It would be enough to have those advertised on a board, at the reception. Definitely business minded...

The shower was hot and AMAZING in general. It was nice that the rented moterbikes had automatic gears and I liked the overal atmosphere of the cottages. The location was just outside of loboc but with the motorbike you got quickly everywhere. Chocolate hills were a 50 min drive and Tarsiers sanctuary 25 min. There is little competition in Loboc for places to stay, so I think that is why this accommodation is more expensive.
The lady at the reception desk during day time was not very friendly and even a little arrogant. We rented a scooter for 24 hours, which the next day did not appear to be 24h, but for that specific day, so we had to pay extra. We also had to pay a 4% extra because we wanted to pay by card at the end of our stay, which was not mentioned. The huts were oké, clean and spacious, but too minimalistic for the price we paid. Power outage was common and the restaurant was heavily overpriced. We did the Firefly tour with the neighbors because it was much cheaper :)
