We were kindly upgraded on check-in to a Luxury Cabin in the Mt Sturgeon property. The cabin was beautiful, secluded, luxury with fire place and right at the base of mountain with incredible views. - we ate at both restaurants. Wicked the 2 hatted fine dining was just fantastic. As good experience as you will have in Australia. World Class. The setting, the service, the food, creativity was first class. We were taken on a tour by the chef of the market garden that supplies 80% of the produce and it was perfect prelude to the dining experience. Well done to all involved.

Room was wonderful with a beautiful view. This is our second stay here. The food we had in Parker the first night (FRIDAY) was exceptional, we loved every mouthful. Wait staff and sommelier were so lovely . We had lamb, which was tender and melt in the mouth, cod, also lovely, and a salad. Entree was the beautiful salmon.

The second night we also dined in Parker, staff still exceptional. But food not there. For starters we ordered the same salmon entree again, and although the flavours were there, the size was not, $30, come on guys. The steak was not tender also. Therefore we were disappointed with the price of the steak and salmon.

Proximity to walking trails

Bed was uncomfortable- large dip on one side Was pleasant but did not meet expectations for a high end stay. Ie no special touches - a bath and/or fireplace would have made it exceptional. Hot spa outside instead of a pool would be more suited to the climate.
