We had a fantastic stay at the Sandra Solitudo Apartments! Mato was incredibly welcoming and provided great local recommendations, which really enhanced our trip.
The apartment was spotless, recently renovated, and well equipped, with excellent air conditioning, a lovely view, and a handy kitchenette. After busy days exploring the Old Town, it was great to relax by the pool and cool off.
The No. 6 bus was easy to use and took around 15 minutes to reach the Old Town, although it can get quite crowded at peak times. At first I wasn’t sure if we should have booked somewhere close to the Old Town, but we LOVED having the opportunity to explore lovely Lapad - especially Trinity Restaurant (as recommended by Mato!), Cave Bar, and Copacabana Beach.
The only downside was that taxis and ubers sometimes struggled to locate the apartment, so we found the bus to be the easiest way to get around. We would definitely stay again and would choose a room with a balcony next time (but this was our fault for not checking when we booked)!

The Apartments are located so close to Dubrovnik, 5 minute uber to the Old Town, with plenty of great restaurants and things to do around with a beach nearby (walking distance).
The pool is perfect after a long day out, the room was comfortable with a kitchen, sofa area and great bathroom. There's washing machines and lines to hang you clothes out from you room.
The Hosts were so friendly, accommodating and always willing to help. Will 100% be back again.

Sandra and Matto are so welcoming. They gave us a very good overview of the area and recommendations. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with plenty of towels and even beach towels. The tap water is safe to drink and tastes good. The pool was very clean and refreshing. Pool towels are provided. The apartment is in a great area, there is a small supermarket and also close to a very nice pedestrian street full of bars and restaurants, which then leads to a walk around the headland with lots of spots for swimming. Highly recommend a walk to the Cave Bar, make sure to go inside the cave rather than the outside to escape the heat and have a drink in a unique place. Then a sunset swim. The apartment is a close Uber or bus ride away from Dubrovnik old town. We had a brilliant stay and will be back. Thank you!
