Fantastische Lage mitten im Weingut.

Einzig die Dusche hatte etwas Sanierungsstau. Wird jedoch in 2027 erneuert.

The property was gorgeous! The unit was very spacious for my group of 6 people. Lots of activities to do on-site. Federica and Laura were amazing hosts!

Beautiful property filled with art & sculptures. Lovely outside for the kids to explore. Pool was amazing. Amazing kitchen facilities. Loved the remote location but 5 mins down the road were two great restaurants & castellina in Chianti was 10-15mins away. Heaps of space

The air conditioning & fans really didn’t do much. We split in the tower in 30 degree heat.

the macro location in Castellina in Chianti is great, the micro location with its orientation north / northeast is passable. Bed is very good.

For the macro location Nittardi had no hand, it is a given. So what counts apart of the location is what Nittardi does for the well being of their guests. They offer a barn with a bed, a cheap IKEA kitchenette badly equipped (missing basics like a cheese grater (in Italy) or hand juicer, with a kitchen knive that not even cuts cherry tomatoes. No serving tray, no placemats. The moskito net has a hole. No power strip, but the cords on most electrical appliances—such as the kettle—are too short. Guests are asked to conserve water, yet the lawn by the pool is watered every night. Hot water generation using diesel combustion. If there were a decent coffee machine and a milk frother, it would be a lovely spot for a cappuccino, and you wouldn't have to drive to Castellina in Chianti or somewhere else. There would be enough of space for all of that equipment. Very poor value for money, €160.-/night. The price is driven by the location—something the hosts have no control over—rather than by the quality of the service and equipment they provide.
