First time in my life that I was served a 3 course, homemade breakfast with even fresh extras on the side. It was delicious. There was even a plantbased option! The hostess was so lovely, friendly, and caring. The place was spotless, romantic, calm, and surrounded by nature.

Charming, hospitable & welcoming.

The farm was everything I imagined rural Ireland was like. It was peaceful, serene & had a wonderful, friendly inn keeper. Everything was clean, well kept & welcoming. The walk to the lake was beautiful & the animals along the way just added to the gorgeous vistas.

Peaceful countryside retreat, perfect for a couple.

The house was gorgeous, with tasteful decor and a very comfortable bed. The dining room was welcoming, with views down the farmland to the water below. We loved the farm trail, and appreciated the boot shed offering wellies to guests. Our hosts were wonderful, and the breakfast was better than we could’ve imagined. There’s ample room for parking in the garden. Plenty to do nearby with hikes, scenic drives and towns within a short drive. Would highly recommend for a quiet stay in the countryside!

Highly recommend

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. We had the separate entrance room and it was well appointed. The hosts were very kind and helpful. They prepared a picnic lunch for our day in the mountains that was perfect. The hosts helped us find a taxi for the evening out and we had so much fun thanks to that service.

A perfect getaway in the Irish countryside with a great breakfast and beautiful views.

We had a wonderful time. The room was cosy and the bed comfortable. We loved the breakfast and special attention by the hosts. It was a great way to escape to the Irish countryside. Definitely take the time to walk down to the lake.

Enjoy the countryside here

Great spot. Very pretty and so quiet. Definitely out in the countryside. Eating places not too far away but you'll need your own car. Breakfast is very nice. All cooked on the spot for you and the host can't do enough for you.

If you are travelling with suitcases the rooms are pretty tight. Carry on would be OK. TV too small and bathroom would not suit anyone on the bigger side.

The room had two windows high up and so you cannot block out the light. That was a bit frustrating in the morning.

Beautiful pastoral location with amazing views

Beautiful pastoral setting with excellent views of Lake Liffey and the Wicklow Mountains. Wonderful hosts, kind. Nice breakfast. A bonus is to be able to roam the extensive property, amidst sheep, cattle, horses, goats.

Room was a little small but very comfortable. There is a narrow lane to access the house that may intimidate some that aren't use to working out using pullouts etc if any oncoming vehicles.

This is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay in rural Ireland. Off the beaten track, Splendid views over a lake made in 1930 and Dublin's water supply. A working farm. Very warm and comfortable. Hospitable hosts who have extensive local knowledge and happy to help. Breakfast was great. Very close to the stone mason's town of Ballyknockan. There is a very special early Christian cross laying in a field very close to the farm, definitely worth a visit, close to St Kevin's Way.

A lovely location & a relaxing stay.

This was a nicely renovated 190-year-old farmhouse. The setting was fabulous: on a farm in the country. There is a long, leisurely walk from the house to a nearby lake. It was a great way to end our long day on the road. The large Irish breakfast was great. The room was crispy clean and cozy. You need a car if you stay here. The closest small town is about a 10 minute drive and there are a few pubs that serve dinner.

Beautiful retreat and scenic views in a quaint BnB!

The property is tucked back enough where you feel away from it all but also is approx 1 hour from the Dublin airport and 15-20 minutes from local restaurants. The drive is stunning and the views are incredible. The BnB has a beautiful view down to the water and a fun farm trek from the house to the lake (highly recommend!). The rooms are cozy and have great views out the window. The hosts are wonderful and we had an amazing breakfast that they were so kind to accommodate in earlier windows (which helped as we had to catch a flight). This made for the best time ending our trip in Ireland and we would love to go back!

Beautiful scenery, rooms and décor fabulous, and a wonderful host. Breakfast was also delicious with freshly baked bread and scones and some of the nicest scrambled eggs I’ve ever eaten

Beautiful Farmhouse B&B

Beautiful Farmhouse clearly lovingly restored by Niamh and her husband and done up very tastefully. The bedroom was cosy and warm with a very comfortable bed and lovely bed linen. We had the use of a sitting room, lots of water, tea & coffee making facilities in our bedroom with fridge and microwave - delicious cake on arrival too. The breakfast was also fab with a beautiful view across Blessington lakes.
