I liked the view of the mountains, the walk to the reservoir, the animals on the farm, the great breakfast, the comfortable bed, the spring water, and the friendliness of the hosts. This is a relaxing stay in one of the most beautiful locations in Ireland. The room also had WiFi, a microwave, tea, coffee, and a tv. The town of Hollywood is a short drive away is a with a cafe, restaurant and pub.
Everything was perfect. The weather was unusually warm across Ireland and England during our stay. The sunny days made for great touring but the nights were a bit hot for the whole country. We slept with the windows open and enjoyed the fresh air at night.

The location was stunning, the welcome so warm and as for the breakfast! A perfect base for exploration and adventure. Really clean, comfortable rooms and the views are out of this world. Great to have your own fridge and cutlery etc.
It wasn't an issue for us but I could see people struggling with the smaller sized rooms. It's understandable given the age of the house but if you had a lot of luggage it might be a bit of a squeeze.

Breakfast was excellent. The peace and quiet was marvellous and the views of Blessington Lakes are beautiful
You really need to have a car if you stay here. I was lucky to get a taxi but I gathered that it's not always so easy
