Across the road from Russell Park where we worked for Matariki event
Motel owners a little mean. We booked our crew - a couple in. At last minute they informed us they had to bring their 8 year old child as baby-sitter fell through. We changed our booking to make allowances. The motel owners said we had to go back to make changes in the booking.com form as it was done through a third party. The system booked two rooms. The motel then put them all into one room but we still paid for two rooms. A bit peeved

Our family travelled for a funeral and the funeral home was directly across the road which was perfect for us to visit our family prior to the service. The back gate takes you directly out to the New World and the Gull petrol station is on the corner. There was a food van across the road the night we stayed and coffee in walking distance. Perfect.
My only concern was the couch in our room had one corner sunk in. Likely needs replacing but other than that, the stay was fantastic.
