We stayed 5 days at Da Clotilde and honestly, Nonna should win an award for hospitality. She’s the real star of the Amalfi Coast, warm, funny, and somehow always one step ahead with a smile (and food).
The views are brilliant, especially with a morning espresso in hand. The whole place is peaceful, the kind of quiet where you actually hear birds, not scooters. Our toddler loved Nonna too; she basically adopted her halfway through the stay.
If you want loud nightlife, this isn’t for you. If you want good sleep, great views, and a Nonna who treats you like family, pack your bags.

Set up high on the hilltop overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea the views are breathtaking.
There are over 70 steps from the parking to the accommodations. We had booked the room due to the jacuzzi spa in the bathroom. After 10 days of touring we needed to rest. There was insufficient hot water to fill the tub even 1/4 of the way. Hot water was depleted after 2 minutes. The hostesses response was it was cold outside… She was sweet and went out of her way to put out pastries and cheese for breakfast.
