It is an extraordinary cottage house, in a small village by the ocean coast. You can hear the waves from the property. The house is small but sufficient, very very clean and very well equipped. The appliances are clean and not very used.
The owner is a lovely person - he waited for us till late night because we were arriving from late ferry.
The owner explained everything, provided us with instructions, maps, recommendations, and he has user's manual for all the equipment in the house - it was just wonderful!
There is a second cottage on the property, so neighbors are possible but we were alone. There is a terrace just outside kitchen to eat outside, there is a dedicated BBQ area as well. A separate rock shed in the back holds washing machine, dryers, cleaning and bbq equipment if needed. The scenery is beautiful. Wi-fi works fine. Bathroom is small but sufficient. Beds were comfortable ok. There is a parking inside but you can also leave the car outside. Be sure you make you shopping prior to arriving because there is nothing in the area. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
I wish we planned our trip differently to stay in this wonderful place for a week, and not only 3 days!

The accomodation was wonderful. It had everything and more that one need (for example a Washington Maschine and a dryer as well as a towle warmer). The Host was extremly nice and even gifted us some of his homemade jam.

Les casas de Fajã sont d’adorables maisonnettes en pierre de lave , loties dans un splendide jardin où il fait bon vivre. La literie est extrêmement confortable , la cuisine bien équipée , les matériaux de qualité. Un peu perdu au bout du monde mais ça vaut le coup. Bruits des vagues , soirées étoilées , allez y les yeux fermés !
Le welcome pack est bien fourni , la confiture de raisins faite maison délicieuse !!

Der Gastgeber Cristiano hat uns sehr herzlich mit Brot, Kaffee, Milch und eigener, leckerer Tomatenmarmelade in der Unterkunft empfangen.
Er hat uns viele Informationen zum Haus, der Insel, Wandertouren, Essensempfehlungen etc. mitgegeben, die für uns sehr hilfreich waren.
Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend in der Nähe zum Strand und an einer Wanderroute und ist sehr geräumig. Die Küche ist hervorragend (sogar mit Induktionsherd und Geschirrspüler) und mit ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck ausgestattet.
Im Garten kann man grillen oder sich sonnen oder einfach entspannen. Auch eine Waschmaschine und ein Trockner sind vorhanden.
Wir hatten einige Unterkünfte auf den Azoren, das war mit Abstand die beste!
