Lovely setting, albeit a little tricky to get to. The staff were superb and so helpful. The food was excellent, with local dishes and plenty of it.
Some of the pathways to the rooms were a little tricky and could be improved. But this was only a minor issue.

Perfect place to stay for 2 nights and do hikes in the region. Truly amazing view from the hotel and you feel like you're on another planet, compared to the tourist and bustle from Ella or Kandy. Staff very friendly and cooked lunch and dinner for us. Simple but good and nutritious food!
Dinner was the same for two nights in a row, but it was still good.

Incredible views from both the room and deck area. It was very relaxing after a long day of hiking. This is the best property I’ve stayed at so far in Sri Lanka. The staff + owner are all very friendly and offer great service. The meals are excellent and big portions. Highly recommend this place, perfect to spend a few days relaxing or as a hiking base.

Lack of privacy - room described as ‘superior’ was very poorly fitted out with drain odour from shower . Long poorly maintained access track potentially hazardous and dangerous but no info about thst till after booking
