Perfect place to walk anywhere

Great location, loved the boutique feel of the place and loved that most rooms surround the pool.

Wish the rooms Had air Conditioning. And wish someone Warned us to take the ferry and not the road to get there as the road is dirt and very long. And ferry does not take long at all.

Great welcoming atmosphere.

We have been going to Commodores Lodge for many, many years, taking overseas visitors to enjoy - it is always a lovely central space to chill away from the main street of Russell. The units are well equipped and the facilities, including laundry, BBQ, and kayaks really add to the convienence of the place. We enjoy the sociable atmosphere with neighbouring units - everyone stops for a chat and it is great to hear everyone's adventures for the day.

We stayed in Unit 4 - 2nd bedroom a bit small - fine for children but not so good for adults with luggage.

Lovely apartment in a central location.

Great location, central and near the jetty. Felt very secure. Nicely decorated, comfortable, spacious apartment. Receptive staff. We had a private covered outdoor area with chairs and tables. Stylish bright yellow Shade7 umbrellas. Nice central decked area with pool and spa pool. Accessible laundry.

Wonderful motel and staff

So clean and well maintained. The kitchen is always a bonus when travelling with kids. The beds are better than 5 star hotels that I’ve stayed at so comfortable. I’m starting to find motels are becoming better than hotels. The pool was nice and clean and the staff are easy. Bill the owner is so accommodating and lovely.

They mucked up our family booking and thought they confirmed we learnt (only through our own efforts) the day before they hadn’t booked in of the 5 apartments. We had to at the last minute find alternative accommodation

Epic spot!

Everything was awesome here! Andrea helped a lot with getting us sorted and also helping with Kayaks and life jackets etc etc. Epic location right on the waterfront! The Pool and spa were an added bonus and was awesome!

The location is exceptional. So handy to shops, restaurants, wharf and all facilities. Room was big, kitchen had everything we need and more. Bed was comfortable and bathroom had everything supplied. [ Even had makeup wipes ]
